LA GRAINE WINES combines the gentleness of our terroirs with the latest technology
and the newest enology in Argentina.
An entrepreneur that was born in Las Pintadas, Uco Valley. This is a dynamic, young project in which the Astié Family and Ballester Family united their passions for wine.
La Graine Wines seeks to express the full potential of Argentinian terroirs, with constant care of its vineyards, together with experienced professionals and their own unique style – essential elements for the achievement of great wines.
When Fernando Astié, a French winemaker, arrived from Montpelier to Argentina, he grew his first vineyard in Mendoza and built a winery, where the whole family worked.
The new generations took other paths, until Carlos Astié and his family (4th generation), together with the Ballester Family, took up the family legacy.
LA GRAINE, the seed planted by their great grandfather.
Our vineyards are located in Mendoza’s main wine areas, looking for the maximum expresion of the terroir.
